it's appearance was overwhelming. kyle froze as his eyes met the entei's. his body ceased to function as he marveled at the sight. the only moment he could move his self was when it bounded away.

he is acquainted with the legends from johto. kyle knows that they don't appear before humans easily. perhaps it was just a coincidence-- a rare encounter-- but part of him wants to at least try to chase it.

"milo, venu, take care of the garden," he barks towards his two other pokemon whilst he releases another one from its ball. "tana, we're tracking the entei down."

the venusaur nods and does nothing. she had been the care taker of the garden ever since and does not need to be reminded of her role. the flames were easily put out by the milotic with water pulse. she releases a thin layer of mist to protect the plants from the extensive heat from the flames.

kyle hops onto his manectric's back, guiding her to where he last saw the entei go to.

kyle does not allow himself to be intimidated by the entei's pressure. the moment the entei shows off its tremendous attack, kyle takes out a pokeball.

"sketch!"

a shiny smeargle comes out, grabbing its tail as it readied to copy the move. it froze though, and before long, the entei was gone.

the pokemon was usually kept as his seventh, different from the main six that compromises as his main team. it was for emergencies like these that he keeps the pokemon with him at all times, though he never imagined that the first rare move that his smeargle would learn was from an entei.

"you got it, right?" kyle asks his pokemon, to which his smeargle nodded faintly.

the sun was shining bright thanks to his ninetales. strong sunlight was needed to make sure that the plants grow faster than their due date. kyle doesn't know whether that was true or not however, since he didn't study biology.

in the middle of staring at nothing, passimians start to appear. kyle grumbles. he doesn't have time for dealing with it since he was too busy doing nothing.

"solar beam."

he issues a command to both of his pokemon. all the bullshit that the wild pokemon threw at them was obliterated and made useless by strong attacks. one by one, both his venusaur, which was a mainstay in the garden, and his ninetales shoot down the monkeys like some tower defense game.

"take one of them prisoner! that'll teach them."

the ninetales uses extrasensory at the slowest passimian to escape, while the venusaur launches a cloud of pollen at it as it flinched, putting it into deep sleep.

kyle throws a pokeball at it.

this place was a place he could hang out as long as he doesn't make a mess, according to the owner, and so priam has the urge to help out whenever he can.

he comes to arms when a wild pokemon comes to invade the garden. he lets his samurott out and attacks the torracat with a hydro pump. the blast of water forces it to the ground, defeated by one strong move that left it unable to retaliate.

priam checks to see if the plants were still in tact, momentarily forgetting they were there when he assaulted the intruder. the resident venusaur, however, seemed to have protected it from any stray attacks that may or may not have been fired off indiscriminately.

nonetheless, priam throws a pokeball at the fallen torracat. maybe sam wants a pet or something.

the presence of the flames was noticed by the ninetales from the distance. the guard dog (fox?) does its best to do its job and stands up from bathing under the sun, ready to face the contender.

she plants her feet onto the ground and takes a deep breath. a terrifying roar coming from the fire-type resonates in the area, its sound frightening enough to dissuade the slugma away from his garden.
